West Village Universal Pre-K

Our New Program in the West Village
In Fall 2009, The Educational Alliance, in partnership with the city's Department of Education, opened a new, universal pre-kindergarten program in response to school overcrowding in local Greenwich Village public schools, P.S. 3 and P.S. 41.

The program, housed in the Greenwich House at 27 Barrow Street in the West Village, allows for more 4-year-olds to attend pre-kindergarten in the Village this year, providing 18 full-day and 56 half-day slots.

We are proud that the Department of Education (DOE) approached us as a partner for this important initiative due to our excellent record in early childhood education and even happier that we can help these West Village families.

The Educational Alliance is city and state certified to provide Universal Pre-Kindergarten.
