Our Acclaimed Arts Program for 10 - 19 Year Olds

The Educational Alliance Art School provides an exciting and affordable visual arts program for teens and pre-teens who want to develop their artistic creativity and skills.  Courses are designed to enrich and develop students individual artistic skills as well as build an art portfolio that can be used to apply to competitive visual arts high schools and colleges.

Classes are taught by professional artists in our airy, light-filled studios. Limited enrollment classes permits the artist-instructor to give individual attention to each student.   At the end of the summer we host an exhibit of students artwork in the Ernest Rubenstein Gallery. An Opening Reception is held for their family and friends to celebrate their artistic endeavors.  These popular classes attract students from throughout New York City. Enrollment is limited, please register early to insure placement in the class of your choice. Supported in part by the National Endowments for the Arts and New York City of Department of Cultural Affairs http://www.nea.gov/  http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcla/html/home/home.shtml

"The Educational Alliance democratically provides instruction, studio space and exhibitions to artists. Important careers have emerged from it..."
