The supply of quality Manhattan housing that's within the means of older adults on fixed or limited incomes is shrinking. The Educational Alliance has 2 federally-subsizided senior residences: The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Apartments, located on Avenue A, and the David L. Podell House, which is attached to our Whittaker Senior Center.

Seniors who live in Podell House take advantage of the comprehensive social services and senior programming offered through The Whittaker Center. Residents of the Weinberg Apartments can find the numerous amenities of the East Village, including our 14th Street Y, right outside their front door.
