Support Our Arts & Culture Programs
The Educational Alliance makes arts and culture a part of all our programs. The arts not only enhance quality of life and stimulate creativity, they also help people develop cognitive skills, express themselves, and problem-solve.
At The Educational Alliance Art School 1,300 students of all ages, experience, and income levels can receive high quality art instruction. Our Young Artists Program offers low-income young adults serious instruction in painting, photography, stone carving, portfolio preparation, and more. The Ernest Rubenstein Gallery presents shows from emerging and established artists that focus on important themes in our community. The 14th Street Y's LABA: The National Laboratory for New Jewish Culture and Girls Theater Project bring innovation to the Downtown arts scene with explorations of theater, music, film, and visual art through the lens of Jewish culture. Our after school programs, senior programs, and Project ORE offer classes in the visual and performing arts.
