Discover the creative and technical advantages of oil painting. Learn the basics of painting from setting up the palette and mixing colors to techniques such as glazing, direct paint and impasto.  The first project will be painting from a still-life; the final project can be of your own choice.  Exercises are designed to develop your skills in observation and  painting 'realistically.' You will learn to paint form, create depth and a sense of light.
