Our large studios bathed in evening light, with views of sunsets over lower Manhattan, wash away the hectic workday and inspire creativity.

The Art School is an active community art center attracting people of all ages from all over the city to its great studios, excellent teachers and friendly atmosphere. Our aim is to teach the techniques in drawing, painting, photography and sculpture. Our professional artist / instructors enjoy sharing their expertise.

People interested in learning and creating art come evenings, daytime and weekends to pursue their creative potential. Many of our students took an art class in high school or college and want to put some creativity back in their lives. Absolute beginners find encouragement and direction in a welcoming environment. Experienced artists often come to refresh their skills or learn a new medium. Many individuals discover their art-selves here, and continue to take classes for several years. I look forward to seeing you in the studios.
