Our Parenting Centers are a place for caregivers and children to explore, connect, discover, laugh, sing, dance, and learn. Neighborhood families interact in a caring and nurturing environment. We have resources for babies, toddlers, caregivers, parents, and soon-to-be parents. Some of our offerings are childbirth classes, play date drop-ins, new parent drop-ins, music classes, special needs parent supports groups, and sports. Learn more >
College Access and Success
The College Access and Success Program was developed in partnership with NYU and CUNY. The first of its kind in New York City, is a two-generation program. It simultaneously engages low income parents of children enrolled in Early Head Start and Head Start in adult education that leads to higher education opportunities and enhanced financial security while also providing quality early education programs for the children. Supplementing these offerings are a range of support services designed to strengthen family functioning, enhance family financial stability, help parents overcome obstacles to furthering their education, and inform parents about education options as their children progress in school. The program receives financial support from the New York State Education Department, JP Morgan Chase Foundation, and the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation.
